After a year of break, we are happy to announce the return of Montegrappa Trophy! The skies of the lovely area of Monte Grappa and the Veneto foothills will once again be the setting for this competition, renown to be one of the most important of the international calendar.

As usual, the chosen period is Easter: April 19to to April 22nd, 2019.
For organizational and safety reasons, participation is limited to 150 paragliding pilots, among the best ones of the international scene.

The competition is eligible to gain score for the Italian Cup, therefore 40% of the available participation cards will be guaranteed to Italian pilots, who will be selected on the basis of the Italian general ranking.

The pre-registrations will open on January, 7th on airtribune.com.

Three are the official takeoffs, which will be chosen based on weather conditions, and three are the landing areas. Clouds of multicolored wings will take off either from Panettone (near Cima Grappa), Col Campeggia or Rubbio-Brombe in Marostica towards the waypoints of the defined daily tasks and then to the official landings in Semonzo (Paradiso and Garden Relais) or in Marostica (Valle San Floriano). In case of optimal weather conditions, a task could exceed 100 km.

The winner of the task will be the athlete who will score the lowest time, while the final ranking will be determined by the sum of the results of the five days of competition.

Trofeo Montegrappa goes beyond the competition: an Expo area will showcase the latest products from the best brands of the free-flight sector. . Paragliders, hang gliders, harnesses, equipment, technical clothing and more.
