Pilots by their Countries of Origin

The first Trofeo Montegrappa Parapendio, ranked in the WPRS, took place in 2006. Since then, 677 paragliding pilots from 41 countries have participated in this prestigious event. Unsurprisingly, Italian pilots have been the most numerous, accounting for 35% of all participants. Germany and France take the second and third spots, respectively, in terms of attendance.

Interestingly, Polish pilots rank fourth among the most frequent participants, followed by those from the United Kingdom, Austria, and Switzerland. The chart above highlights the 12 most represented countries in the competition.
