A task that has already made history!
Considering the extraordinary weather conditions the Director of the competition, Damiano Zanocco, has assigned a task of 157 kilometers. An extraordinary event that never happened before in Italy.
The performances of the 150 pilots participating in the competition were extraordinary too: 120 of them closed this incredible task, flying over breathtaking landscapes.
After the take-off in Rubbio (Marostica) the athletes have seen the mountains of Monte Grappa, Feltre, Dolada, Alpago, Monte Cavallo, Aviano, Cansiglio, Vittorio Veneto, Revine, Cesen and finally returned to Borso del Grappa, closing the triangle at Garden Relais landing area.
Luc Armant landed first, closing the task in less than four hours with an average speed of 37 km/h. Julien Wirtz and Honorin Hamard followed.
Perfect conditions, generous thermals, panoramic views of all the Dolomites, 157 km and lots of happy pilots at the landing. Just magic!
